Colore brillante con profumi floreali, di pera, mela ed agrumi. Le nuances saline si apprezzano maggiormente al palato in un gusto ampio, grasso con un finale fresco e fruttatto.
Oggi si è scoperto che il miglior vino da abbinare con le ostriche è il Muscadet ed è nato così Royal Oyster Muscadet Sèvre-Et-Maine Sur Lie, un vino bianco di Melon de Bourgogne in purezza lasciato riposare in botte per sei mesi sui propri lieviti.
Al naso offre sentori fruttati di susina gialla e agrumati. Al palato è fresco, minerale e con una buona persistenza.
